L is for Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events

My son loved the books and it was through his love and interest of the books that I saw the movie. As a parent at first I felt a bit concerned by the dark humor, but when I realised he focused more on the light, the costumes, the comparison to the books I felt that it was nice my young son had the capacity to see light and not focus on the dark. 

A few years later Cirque du Freak was a similar experience for me as parent. With that movie he was frustrated at any deviation from the books!
